With the notorious delay of the hopeless office reporter, we would like to bring a warm welcome to Lone Thygesen in the newly established Food Safety & Quality in Kangamiut Seafood.
Lone comes with a wide experience in the field from – among others – Sirena and Danish Crown, and from her own consultancy business. As you know, Lone headed and coordinated the very efficient process to qualify DanSea Nordic for the BRC certification that was obtained in April 2024. She is now heading the same ambitious procedure for the new Kangamiut Seafood, aiming for a certification this year.
Lone is married to Lars, and the extended family counts no less than four children and four grandchildren. Lone enjoys cycling, fishing (!!), and running – in fact Lone and most of her family will be participating at the Royal Run in Ribe this summer.
Lone and Lars like to spend their vacations in Spain and France, and since long distance driving is no obstacle, long weekends in the Alsacian town of Barr is a favorite.
Lone is based in Bramming located between Esbjerg (a city that our founder would have claimed to be the capital of Denmark) and Kolding; however, she will be moving to Ribe with her better half this spring.
Lone will work remotely with a planned 2 days in Dronninglund per week.
